Welcome to Sparkle and Glitter, a blogzine project that attempts to inject a little sparkle into everyones’ day-to-day lives, no matter how dull and routine they may be!

Combining great things from around the web, articles about ordinary people doing amazing, extraordinary or completely insane things, and weekly features where guests, both great bloggers and members of the general public alike, describe how they have brightened up their daily routines, Sparkle and Glitter promises to be a source of inspiration and entertainment to carry you through the working week and into a great weekend!

In the immortal words of Mr David Bowie; “I’m happy, hope you’re happy too” –  that’s what this blog is all about. Sharing things that make us positive, thoughtful and happy, in the hope that they’ll inspire these feelings in others as well.

Contributors are always welcome so if you want to let the blogosphere know how you made your week sparkle, please email me on: sparkle and glitter @ rocketmail. com (without the spaces).

  1. I sparkle humming David Bowie as well 🙂 As a matter of fact, I sing it to the little boys I babysit for (who are far too young to understand why David Bowie is amazing). When I’m trying to get them out of the house, I sing, “put on your crocs tooooonight, let’s dance!” My best friend cracks up when I sing that rendition to her.

  2. 😀 yay! He is fabulous isn’t he? I think everyone does silly cute things when small kids are involved!

Found your blog through a friend of a friend and am thoroughly enjoying your concept. Thank you for a little sparkle in my day.
